Gallery

The Nystrom Gallery at the Monroe Arts Center is devoted to highlighting the talents of local artists throughout the surrounding areas. The gallery shows seek to both highlight local artists - professionals and hobbyists – and to provide opportunities for visitors to be exposed to art. For many people in the area, this is the first time they’ve ever entered a gallery. We want them to leave thinking, “That was amazing! I want to try that!” We know that art is the backbone of culture and creates an opportunity for self-expression. We are dedicated to creating an open and welcoming space for both artists and visitors.
