“The Art of Finley”
MAA CALL FOR ARTWORK
August 22 – October 18
The Monroe Arts Association is accepting artwork for a juried show entitled, “The Art of Finley.” Art works of any medium are welcome that feature the flora and fauna of Finley National Wildlife Refuge in the Willamette Valley Oregon. There is a $25 submission fee for up to three works.
Guidelines for Eligible Artwork:
· Any medium is welcome.
· Outer dimensions (including frame) are 30” x 30” x 30” or smaller and 35 lbs or under. Please note for three-dimensional art, we have a very limited number of pedestals. You are free to use your own as long as it fits the above dimensions.
· Each artist is permitted to enter up to three pieces.
· Work is your original work.
· Work is in excellent condition.
· Work has not been displayed previously at the Monroe Arts Association.
· Work is properly framed and wired for hanging. We do not allow sawtooth hangers.
· Watercolors and works on paper must be covered by glass or plexiglass with no exposed edges (closed frames only).
· Wrapped canvas is okay.
· Artists may choose to sell work that is on display in the gallery. MAA takes a 35% commission on gallery sales. Any works sold will be exhibited until the end of the show. We ask that you exhibit at least one piece for sale.
Submission Guidelines:
· To submit work for this show, please submit to https://2026finleyartcall.artcall.org by August 1st. You will be notified of the results of the jurying by August 7.
· Drop off instructions will be sent with the acceptance notifications.

“Semi Quincentennial Celebration: USA 250”
MAA CALL FOR ARTWORK
The Monroe Arts Association is accepting artwork for a show entitled, “Semi Quincentennial Celebration: USA 250.” Art works of any medium are welcome that celebrate what the United States means to you. What makes the USA the USA, so anything that reminds you of the U.S. This could be bald eagles, national monuments, protests, ice cream, kids laughing…whatever!

Works can be dropped off during regular business hours. I will post additional hours for the last week in June the week before.
